Schizophrenia is a mental health problem that is both complicated and long-lasting. It affects how a person thinks, feels, and behaves. People with schizophrenia experience various symptoms, such as believing things that are not true (delusions), seeing or hearing things that are not there (hallucinations), having difficulty speaking or behaving in an organized way, and having trouble with their thinking abilities.

Schizophrenia is quite common, affecting almost 1% of the population. It not only affects the person’s well-being but also has an impact on society, leading to social and economic problems. Many individuals with schizophrenia struggle to find jobs and may even end up without a home.
